Get ready to celebrate York Pride 2025 in downtown Newmarket on Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22 from 10 AM to 10 PM each day. The Pride Parade, one of the weekend's biggest highlights, takes place on Saturday, June 21 at 6 PM. This two-day festival brings together over 45,000 attendees, turning Riverwalk Commons into a vibrant, inclusive space full of colour, connection, and celebration.

Trans March and Pride Parade

Begins Saturday, June 21 at 3 PM on Main Street and ends at Riverwalk Commons. It’s a powerful moment for visibility, support, and affirmation.
York Pride Parade
Starts Saturday, June 21 at 6 PM, traveling from Main and Queen down Main Street, turning onto Water Street, crossing the Fairy Lake bridge, and finishing at Doug Duncan Drive. Expect over 3,000 marchers, energetic floats, music, and an audience full of Pride.

Meet and Greet with Canada’s Drag Race Stars
Saturday, June 21 from 3:30 to 5 PM at EventMRKT. Meet your favourite queens from Canada's Drag Race. Tickets are $20 for a day pass or $30 for a weekend pass.
Rhinestone Rodeo After Party
Saturday, June 21 from 9 PM to 2 AM at EventMRKT. This 19+ event includes a welcome drink, gourmet hot dog, and dance floor hosted by DJs Cozmic Cat and Pspsps. Dress in your boldest country glam and get ready to party.
Getting There
Free shuttles will run from Magna Centre, Ray Twinney Recreation Complex, and the Newmarket GO Station.

Bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets for parade seating. There is a public water fountain available inside Lions Hall near Riverwalk Commons.
